The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a worldwide Human Resources association. An affiliate of SHRM, the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) provides Human Resources professionals with PHR, GPHR, and SPHR certifications, demonstrating that they have mastered the HR body of knowledge.
PHR, GPHR, and SPHR Certificate Preparation
If you are studying in order to prepare for the HRCI PHR, GPHR, or SPHR exam, The American Certifications Center provides a beneficial course for many of the HR exam questions. ACC also provide thorough training for the exam modules which include Strategic management, Workforce planning and employment, Human Resources Development, Total Rewards, Employee and Labor Relations and Risk Management.
HRCI PHR, GPHR, and SPHR Recertification
Once you have passed an HRCI PHR, GPHR, or SPHR exam and received your PHR, GPHR, or SPHR certificate, you will need to stay up to date on developments in HR practices. To prove you have maintained and updated your HR knowledge, HRCI requires that you recertify every 3 years.
You can do so by:
1. Taking a PHR, GPHR, or SPHR recertification exam administered by HRCI.
OR
2. Earning 60 PHR, GPHR, and SPHR recertification credits through continuing education ; teaching an HR subject in a presentation; conducting research on an HR topic or publishing in the HR field; providing leadership to a committee, board, or conference; or maintaining membership in a national professional society.
Requirement:
2 years experience in HR or anything related.
